In October 2017, Dominka, Patrycja, Tulia and Joanna recorded and published their version of the hit “Depeche Mode” “Enjoy the Silence”, which in the same month was available on the band’s official fan page on Facebook. Because of this, the band Tulia was founded in Szczecin in november 2017. In February 2018 they released the official music video for the song, which received over 3.5 million views on YouTube. In the same month they presented a music video to cover Dawid Podsiadło’s song “Nieznajomy”, which achieved a result of over 10 million views on YouTube. In may 2018, the band released their debut album, containing covers as well as original songs. The album debuted 7th in the Polish charts and obtained the status of a platinum album. At the “Premiery” concert as part of the 55th Polish National Song Festival in Opole, they won three awards: the jury and audience award and a special award from ZAiKS.
In may 2019, Tulia represented Poland in the Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Pali się”. Joanna Sinkiewicz left the group shortly after the Eurovision Song contest 2019.
