Tornike Kipiani is a Georgian singer, born in Tiblisi. At the age of 19 he formed his own musical group, “Circle Corner”, where he played guitar and sang. His first appearance on tv as a solo singer was in 2012, when he was a finalist in the show Magtifani. In 2016, he rose to fame in Georgia by winning the X-Factor. In 2017, he took part in the national final for the Eurovision Song Contest in a duet with Giorgi Bolotashvili, “You are my sunshine”. In 2019, he won Georgian Idol, which gave him the ticket to represent Georgia in the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest. Due to the corona crisis, he was not able to take part, but is now invited by Georgian tv to represent the country in 2021.
