Biography

The Common Linnets are a Dutch band, formed in 2013. They originally where popular Dutch singers Ilse Delange and Waylon. They represented the Netherlands in the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest. Shortly after the contest, Waylon left the group. JB Meijers replaced him and also Jake Etheridge, Matthew and Rob Crosby joined. Their Eurovision song “Calm after the storm” hit the charts all over Europe. The Common Linnets released two albums so far.
Waylon represented the Netherlands in the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest, while Ilse Delange accompanied Duncan Laurence on his journyy to a Eurovision victory.
