Nevena Božović is a Serbian pop singer, born in Kosovská Mitrovica. She studied music at the University of Arts in Belgrade. She participated in the Junior Eurovision with “Piši mi”, in 2007. After a small break from music, she made her come back in 2009. In 2013 she participated in the talent show Prvi Glas Srbija and became second. She teamed up with the other two top-3 singers of the contest, Mirna Radulović and Sara Jovanović, to form the all girl group Moje 3. They won the national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Ljubav je svuda” and thus represented Serbia in the international contest.
Shortly after Eurovision, Nevena presented a new solo single, “Pogleda me”, followed by “Znam da nočas gubim te”. In 2014, Nevena participated in the contest Proleče u Beogradu.
On May 7, 2015, Nevena promotes a spot for a single called “I Need You” whose music, lyrics and arrangement are signed by Dusan Popovic. The video features Vlaho Arbulic, a Croatian top model, and the video was shot at Villa Danica in Bela Crkva in Banat. The song was autobiographical, as Nevena stated. That’s it, this is me. 
Eurovision Song Contest 2015 and performance before Indila
At the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna, she was one of five members of the Serbian jury, in addition to Dejan Cukić, Marko Kon, Saša Milošević and Ksenija Milošević. In the first semifinal, Nevena placed Moldova as her favorite, and then scored points from Northern Macedonia, Belgium, the Netherlands, Russia, Romania, Hungary, Denmark, Greece and Estonia. Of her first ten songs, six made it to the finals.
In the grand finale, she gave 12 points to Prince, 10 points to Loic Nottet and 8 points to Mans Zelmerlov, while the remaining points were scored by Pauline Gagarin, Elina Born and Stig Rasta, Il Volo, Gui Sebastian, Nadav Guedj, Aminata and Ann Sophie. Combining the results with jury members as well as televoting, nine out of ten of her songs received points from Serbia, while Germany was the exception (points went to Slovenia). She was also the jury member in Serbia who gave the highest score to the real winner, Sweden. 
On May 26, 2015, Nevena, in addition to Sara Jovanovic and the group Gruva gruva, was part of the introductory part for the concert of the French singer Indila, which was held at the Stark Arena in Belgrade. She opened the so-called New Divas Festival with her songs “Bal” and “I Need You,” and continued her performance with “Feel,” “You Shook Me All Night Long,” and “Hurt,” before ending with “Simply the Best.” “by Tina Turner. 
Establishing a career and the Slavic Bazaar
Nevena continues her collaboration with Aleksandra Milutinovic, who did the lyrics for the song “Bal” and thus, on December 24, 2015, releases a song called “I hear you are coming to town”. I’ve been thinking about this song for over a year now, and it’s very special to me because I’ve worked it with my friends and with a lot of love, she said. In 2017, she competed in the famous Slavianski Bazaar festival in Vitepsk, Belarus. Nevena had the highest number of points at the end of day one and eventually finished in third place. In the same year, Nevena, unveiled her new single, “Jasno mi je” The song became a big hit in Serbia and the rest of the region. She also published an English version called “Dangerous Drug”, which also received positive reviews. Several other successful singles followed.
In 2019, Nevena got the opportunity to represent Serbia in the Eurovision Song Contest for a second time, now solo with the song “Kruna”. In the same year, she was voted best female singer in Serbia by Nahi Radio. In october, she released the song “Sanjam”, which was written and composed by Nevena herself, just like “Kruna”.
