Biography

Jill Johnson is a Swedish singer and songwriter. She mainly sings pop and country. She had her breakthrough in Sweden in 1996, when she sang a duet with Jan Johansen. She participated in the 1998 Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Kärleken är”, which was inspired by the death of Diana, princess of Wales. In 1999, Jill moved to Los Angeles to record her third album. She received a platinum record in Denmark in 2000. Three years later she participated in Melodifestivalen and became 4th. She released a total of 17 albums, three of which went gold and two even platinum.
