Biography

Jari Sillanpää is a Finnish/Swedish singer. He was born and raced in Sweden from a Finnish family. He rose to fame winning the Seinäjoki Tangomarkkinat tango contest in 1995. His debut album was the best selling album of 1996 in Finland. In 1998, he won the Emma Award for best male soloist and he took part in Euroviisut. In 2004, he won Euroviisut and represented Finland in the Eurovision Song Contest. He colaborated with Katri Helena. Jari Sillanpää released 13 albums.
