Biography

Jahn Teigen is a Norwegian singer, musician and comedian.He started his career in the late 1960s, when he released a few singles and one album with Enemies. However, his commercial break-through did not come until the early 1970s.  He represented Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest three times, in 1978 ,1982 ( as a member of the duo Jahn Teigen & Anita Skorgan ) and 1983, and became known throughout Europe as a result of his 1978 performance in the contest, which won a zero points. He lives in Sweden since 2006.

Anita is a Norwegian singer-songwriter. As her music career expanded, the demand for Anita Skorgan grew also. Before she knew it, she landed multiple appearances on the hit television show “Melodi Grand Prix” seven times between 1976 and 1985. She represented Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest a total of five times: twice as a solo artist (1977,1779), once with Jahn Teigen (1982) , once as his backing singer in 1983, and also as Finn Kalvik’s backing singer in his 1981 performance. Anita again represented Norway at the Eurovision Song Contest as a co-writer and backing singer in 1988.
