Biography

Bianca Shomburg is a German singer. In 1996 she won the German tv-show ‘Soundmix show’. It meant her breakthrough as a singer. She released her first single “I believe in love”, produced by Harold Faltermeyer. Her greatest success came in 1997 when she was chosen to represent Germany in the Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Zeit”. The song was followed by an album, “It’s my time”. Unfortunately, this was not a chart success. It remained her only album. The singles she made were no commercial successes and in 2000, she lost her contract. We saw Bianca Shomburg returning as a singing coach in the tv-show “Deutschland sucht den Superstar”.
