Biography

Arsenium is a Moldovan singer, born in Chișinău. He started his singing career at age 16 when he was a member of the band Stejareii, where he played the double bass. After a year, he started taking singing lessons. Dan Bălan invited him to become a member of his band O-Zone. To achieve more succes, the band moved to Bucharest, Romania. Their first album “Number 1” was a succes, followed by the hitsingle “Despre tine”. However, in 2004 the band rose to fame in all Europe with the song “Dragostea din tei”. Due to personal reasons, the band split up in 2005
Arsenium decided to have a solo career, starting with the single “Love me, love me”. In 2006, he represented Moldova in the Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Loca”, accompanied by Natalia Gordienko and Connect-R. His Eurovision adventure was followed by an album “The 33rd element”. In 2008, he had another international hit, “Rumadai”. Six years later he brought this song to the Viña del Mar festival in Chile. Arsenium remained a star in Moldova and Romania. International succes came with “Do rassveta”, a song in Russian, in 2014
